Home Exercise Equipment

Some individuals may benefit from simple home exercise equipment as part of their scoliosis rehabilitation program. Recommendations are individualized based on each person’s curve pattern, goals, and treatment plan.

Equipment is used to assist with:

  • postural correction

  • movement awareness

  • breathing expansion

  • spinal elongation

  • positioning during exercises

  • integration of scoliosis-specific exercise into home practice

Examples of equipment that may be recommended include:

  • yoga straps or belts

  • pull-up bars

  • positioning supports or bean bags

  • wedges or foam supports

  • mirrors for visual feedback

Equipment can be purchased independently or through the clinic when appropriate. Specific recommendations will be discussed during assessment and treatment sessions.
